      Survey of 1,180 adults in Virginia, including a subsample of 1,040 registered voters, was conducted April 28 - May 4, 2011; 677 interviews were conducted before the killing of Osama bin Laden (April 28 - May 1), with 503 afterward (May 2-4). The margin of error is +/- 3.5 percentage points.  Results from interviews conducted before the announcement of bin Laden's death are in parentheses.
